Each Capacity Builder starts with something real: work already underway and a clearly defined need that could help it grow stronger. Support may include equipment, expertise, services, technology, connections, visibility, referrals, or financial contributions.

The Fish Hut
An established Hemet business strengthening the equipment underneath its day-to-day operation, including commercial refrigeration and freezer capacity.
The current activation brings education, connection, community participation, and this practical capacity need into one local experience.
Organizational Capacity Builder
V2 National Association of Foster Youth, Inc.
V2 strengthens pathways for young people ages 13–23 through mentorship, leadership, education, and community service.
Capacity V2 brings
V2 brings youth-centered experience, community relationships, and practical pathways that help young people grow into capable adults and future community leaders.
Connected through community work
V2 is an independent organization participating in the Better We/TXNL ecosystem. The relationship is rooted in youth development, mentorship, service pathways, and community building.
That history includes JETMP, which connected young people with education, mentoring, and community pathways. Those participants are adults now; the continuing intention is to support emerging adults and future leaders where their paths align.
Building the next chapter
Better We and V2 are developing their organizational relationship in California, with V2 serving as an important avenue for youth-centered work within the wider ecosystem.

SDMC / Garden Gate
SDMC / Garden Gate brings community, business, and lifestyle wellness together with creative development, practical healthy living, and sustainability-minded planning.
Capacity SDMC brings
The work centers practical, community-minded solutions that strengthen households, support healthy living, and connect creative vision with gardens, land, and property.
Garden Gate
Garden Gate is Denise M. Giarratano's independently owned garden and property vision. It began around the Barbour / Dyer family property in Keswick, Virginia, and continued beyond that property through garden, land, and sustainability-oriented planning.
Its history stands on its own while remaining compatible with future EcoVillage and regenerative land-development work across the wider ecosystem.
Connected through longstanding work
SDMC / Denise has participated in Better Me/TXNL community, business, wellness, creative, and media work since at least 2015. That history provides a foundation for future collaboration while preserving SDMC's identity, vision, and intellectual property.
